About Amy Cinnamond Hypnosis in Stockton On Tees

Ever feel like anxiety is running the show, even when you know it’s all in your head?

I get it. I’ve helped so many people in Stockton-on-Tees who feel trapped by racing thoughts, stress, or habits they just can’t shake.

The good news?

You don’t have to stay stuck.

One of the biggest problems that people run into when they're trying to manage anxiety on their own is that you tend to focus too much on avoiding the symptoms -rather than addressing the root causes of what caused your anxiety in the first place.

This becomes an even bigger challenge you're already juggling everything else in life and then having to fight with that anxiety which leaves you feeling even more overwhelmed than you were to begin with!

What else have you tried so far?

Alcohol can seem like a quick-fix to self-medicate, but that often proves to be a more dangerous distraction than it was an actual benefit. Over-the-Counter Medications can produce short-lived results, but they often build an unwanted dependency. Prescription Medications have been proven to be effective, though sometimes they have unintended side effects. My client who's a long-distance lorry driver had medication which helped him to relax, but also made him drowsy which meant he couldn't work! Breathing Techniques & Meditation can be helpful, but many struggle with those methods because they require advance planning and they're not very practical in real-time applications. Distracting Yourself can provide temporary comfort just to "muscle through it," but that doesn't address what truly needs to addressed, and it keeps you stuck in that old loop even longer

For anything to be effective, it's important to:

1. Combat the 'What If' Worry so that you prevent worst-case scenario thinking from taking over, allowing you to concentrate on your priorities.

2. Take Charge of Your Thoughts so that you can easily keep your focus so that you're empowered which means you control how you think and feel, regardless of how stressful your environment is.

3. Understand Your Body's Role and recognise that your physical state plays a significant role in your anxiety. It's not solely a mental issue; it affects your entire body, making the path to resolution more accessible than you might think.

If you are truly ready to be calm, confident and in control for good, you can begin to see why hypnosis is such an effective tool because:

It's much easier to release anxiety because when you develop a greater awareness and recognise what you've been doing up until now and have the skills to change that, even if you tried everything before!

Even though you're worried about not being worried anymore, we can focus on the hypnotic process of helping you to be aware of the problems that might come up along the way for you but you'll have the skills to navigate through them with confidence and feel at ease.

If that's something you want help to do faster and easier, that's why I've made my time available for you to grab a time to speak with me about helping you to reach your goals.

FAQ

What is hypnosis?

Have you ever been so captivated by a film that you felt part of the story, even knowing it was just fiction? Or so absorbed in your phone that you didn’t hear someone trying to talk to you? That’s your mind slipping into a natural trance—another term for a hypnotic state.

Hypnosis is a natural state your mind enters daily. It’s not magic; though it might feel like it, it’s a powerful method for reshaping your thoughts and habits by tapping into your subconscious, which governs much of your behaviour.

Hypnosis feels so natural that you might not even realise you’re in it.

What happens during my first session?

Your first session is the longest. Even though we’ve already spoken, we’ll spend extra time so I can understand you better and choose the best tools and techniques to help you.

In most sessions, I’ll teach you something useful so you can support your own progress and feel empowered, not dependent on me. If you’re serious about lasting change, you’ll practice between sessions to help make the change part of who you are.

Before we begin hypnosis, I’ll explain what to expect and answer any questions you have. I’m committed to helping you succeed—and if you feel I’ve earned it, I’d love for you to share your experience to help others looking for support.

Will I lose control?

No, you will not lose control. Hypnosis is a state of mind that occurs only with your consent.

You’ll be fully aware of what I’m saying and cannot be compelled to act against your values or share any secrets. Some individuals fear that their strong will might prevent them from being hypnotised, but in reality, having good focus and concentration allows for an easier transition into hypnosis.

Can anyone be hypnotised?

Absolutely! Anyone receptive to hypnosis can experience its benefits. With a trained professional, the approach is personalised to suit your needs.

Clients frequently describe it as easy, relaxing, and a valuable tool they can continue to utilise for ongoing success long after the sessions have concluded.
